瓦斯发电机组如何实现清洁能源转型

In the process of coal mining, gas (mainly composed of methane) has always been a major threat to mine safety and a potent greenhouse gas, with a greenhouse effect 26 times that of carbon dioxide. However, with technological advancements, gas is transforming from a "coal mine killer" to a valuable clean energy source. The gas generator set is the core equipment for achieving this transformation, which not only improves the safety level of mines, but also promotes the green and low-carbon utilization of energy.
瓦斯发电机组以煤矿抽采的瓦斯为燃料,通过内燃机或燃气轮机将化学能转化为机械能,再驱动发电机产生电能。整套系统包括发动机、发电机、气体压缩与净化装置、冷却系统及智能控制系统。为确保稳定运行,瓦斯需经过脱硫、除尘、调压等预处理,以满足机组对气体纯度、压力和温度的要求。例如,部分机组可稳定利用甲烷浓度低至6%的瓦斯,实现高效持续发电。

Gas generator sets use gas extracted from coal mines as fuel, convert chemical energy into mechanical energy through internal combustion engines or gas turbines, and then drive generators to generate electrical energy. The entire system includes an engine, generator, gas compression and purification device, cooling system, and intelligent control system. To ensure stable operation, gas needs to undergo pre-treatment such as desulfurization, dust removal, and pressure regulation to meet the unit's requirements for gas purity, pressure, and temperature. For example, some units can stably utilize gas with methane concentrations as low as 6% to achieve efficient and sustainable power generation.
目前,我国已建成多个瓦斯发电示范项目。以贵州新田煤矿为例,其低浓度瓦斯发电项目年可利用瓦斯1400万立方米,年发电量约2590万度,减排二氧化碳当量12万吨,实现了瓦斯零排放与余热全利用。这不仅降低了矿区对外部电力的依赖,还创造了可观的经济效益。
At present, China has built multiple gas power generation demonstration projects. Taking Xintian Coal Mine in Guizhou Province as an example, its low concentration gas power generation project can utilize 14 million cubic meters of gas annually, generate approximately 25.9 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, reduce carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by 120000 tons, and achieve zero gas emissions and full utilization of waste heat. This not only reduces the dependence of the mining area on external electricity, but also creates considerable economic benefits.
瓦斯发电是煤炭行业绿色转型的重要路径。未来,随着智能化控制、余热回收和碳交易机制的完善,瓦斯发电将在能源结构优化和“双碳”目标实现中发挥更大作用。
