The core workflow of the environmental energy biogas generator set is divided into three stages. Firstly, anaerobic fermentation produces biogas - organic waste is decomposed by microorganisms in a closed anaerobic fermentation tank to produce biogas, mainly composed of methane (50% -70%) and carbon dioxide. Next is biogas purification - the crude biogas produced by fermentation contains hydrogen sulfide, moisture, and impurities, and needs to be pre treated with desulfurization, dehydration, dust removal, etc. to meet the quality requirements of the generator set. The third is combustion power generation - purified biogas enters the gas-fired internal combustion generator set, mixes with air in the cylinder for combustion, and drives the piston to do work and generate electricity. The biogas power generation project of Xiaohongmen Reclaimed Water Plant adopts this mode. Four 1200kW gas-fired internal combustion generating units with a total installed capacity of 4.8MW and four waste heat steam boilers are to be built.
